Waking up in the morning not just require effort, but a lot of it. No matter how much we put it off, we gotta wake up at some point. But the drowsiness and the feeling to sleep whatever chances you get never goes away.

Here are a few ways to ditch the sleepyhead inside of you-

Do not snooze

It’s pointless at the first place. Snoozing your alarm just teases you, putting it off for a few minutes only opens the gateway to your sleepy side. If you wake up without snoozing, you will feel refreshed and energetic, but by snoozing your alarm just to get a few more minutes’ of sleep will only make your day worse. 

Get out of bed as soon as you open your eyes

Those cushions, pillows and blankets sure does feel so comfy and warm but staying there after waking up doesn’t really help. Step out of your bed as soon as you are awake. Leaving your bed immediately will break your sleepiness and you will feel fresh right away.

Coffee or tea

If you still don’t feel much inspirited after waking up and getting fresh, then you can go for a cup of coffee or tea. Caffeine helps boost energy, feel revived and kick off all the sleep you own.

Never skip your breakfast; there is a saying, ‘Eat your breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper’. You need to do exactly the same. Eat as much nutritious food as you can in the morning, this will keep you energized throughout the day and you feel awake and rejuvenated.

Exercise

The best way to ditch the sleepiness is by exercising. Go for a morning run or do yoga. You will definitely feel fresh, calm and soothing.
