- Get plenty of fluids
The best thing to do when having a sore throat is to intake as much of fluids as possible. It helps in decreasing the congestion. You can take warm water, fruit drinks or Herbal Tea. Herbal tea proves to be the most effective when it comes to cure sore throat.
- Steam
Another very effective way to get rid of sore throat is to take steam. You can create steam at home with the help of boiled water or you can use a vaporizer. Just put your face above the boiled water or vaporizer and inhale the steam. It helps to loosen up your packed nose and relieve the congestion.
- Honey, Lemon, and ginger
