Corns develop as a thick, blistering or dry and hard bump on the skin which can be painful and tender. It has a hard middle part encircled by the infected as well as inflamed skin. Touching these corns or wearing tight-fitted shoes without wearing any socks can generate a lot of pain due to massive abrasion. They develop on the damp and sticky surface of the skin like amid the toes. The corns that have a small shape but grow on a hard and thick area of the skin are the hard type corns and they grow on the crown of toes. The corns that develop underneath the feet are termed seed corns.
