The researchers then kept looking for any inflammatory biomarkers in the bloodstream of these women. The trial results showed that some inflammatory markers such as TNF-alpha had significantly reduced in these yogurt-eating premenopausal women.
Another one of the research, which was an extended version of the previous, involved giving these women a diet high in fat and carbohydrate at the start and end of the 9-week trial so that their metabolism could be put to stress. The only moderation was half of these women’s life before had low-fat yogurt before consuming this high-calorie meal, and the other half had non-dairy pudding.
Researchers then found that women who had low-carb yogurt before their meal showed reduced endotoxins markers in their blood. Also, all those women who were obese showed a quick reduction in their post-meal glucose levels, and they also belonged to the group that had yogurt before the high-calorie meal.

Both the studies mentioned above can show that yogurt cannot only improve and speed up metabolism level even in obese people but also reduce signs of inflammation by improving the intestinal lining.
